The orcs are the real stars of Shadow of War. Decorated with skulls, piercings, and plates of battered iron armour, these grotesque, toothy brutes sneer, jeer, and brag like rowdy drunks. And before you fight them they delight in detailing all the ways they’re going to kill you, gut you like a fish, and present your head to Sauron. It’s almost endearing how much they obviously love being orcs and serving their Dark Lord, which is more than can be said for the game’s dreary human characters—and that includes hero Talion, an undead Gondorian ranger with all the joie-de-vivre of a concrete bollard.

Months after it was first announced, Microsoft's Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 is now available to download. Coinciding with the launch is the availability of several mixed reality headsets, as Microsoft attempts to bring VR and mixed reality experiences to the masses.
Let's start with the Fall Creators Update. This is the second major update to Windows 10 this year, the first being the original Creators Update released in April. Microsoft has committed to releasing two major upgrades to Windows 10 annually, so this will be the last one until (presumably) next spring.

Case makers need to offer more models with transparent LCD side panels. Like, right now. We caught a glimpse of this last year when iBuyPower showed off its Project Snowblind PC at Computex, and more recently, someone outfitted an In Win 707 case with a transparent LCD and turned their PC into a virtual dance stage. For hologram pop star Hatsune Miku, naturally.

All part of the game's spooky Hallow's End event, which starts today.

Ever wished you could run Shield Slam in Druid or Lord Jarraxus in Priest? Next week your most debased Hearthstone dreams could finally come true. From October 24 to November 6, Hearthstone's Arena mode will be replaced by a new dual class variant. Players will pick a class, then a Hero Power from another class, and finally draft a deck with access to cards from both classes. The hero will even wear a special outfit, as part of the Hallow's End festivities which Hearthstone is celebrating between late October and early November.
